Can’t say that I disagree with you…. I found it entertaining, but forgettable.
Hope you’ve watched my Bruno review!
To be honest, i think the movie is overrated. The funniest guy is the bearded one, you´ll see a lot of jokes coming. The plot is clever, that´s about it, but unfortunately it lacks of a lot of slapstick humor. Bruno made me piss in my pants of all the laughing. Hangover never did.
This is one of my favorite movies of the year and one of my favorite movies of all time.
Fantastic Review! Y’all get 4 kisses
Have a great weekend!
This movie brings me much happiness.
k it was hilarious, laugh every time i saw it, and gi joe and trans.2 wer def the most ovverated
“they had a Righteous time”! Great “re-review
I saw it in theaters i was funny!
For me this was the second most overrated film of the year after UP, I am not saying its bad but it was nothing more than the average type of comedy, i dont even remember laughing during the film. I think I love you man was just as mediocre as The Hangover
i agree!
i saw Orphan last night (highly recommend it!)
In the US, it’s rated ‘R’ while im 16 yrs. old, and here in Canada, i was able to see it, as it is rated ‘14A’
its so puzzling!
I find the ratings fascinating. I get updates on the new MPAA ratings and I enjoy making predictions for the Canadian. Can ratings seem to be a little more effective looking at the film as a whole rather than individual content. No amount of basic profanity is going to push it above a 14A. In the case of Bruno, it’s more harsh and with practically every R-rated horror. BTW, LotL is not a kids movie. Even when it’s for kids it could be G or PG.
Don’t you find the conflict of US vs. Canadian ratings confusing sometimes? Interestingly, Can. ratings seem to be softer…. Not a huge issue, but I try to be more on top of it when it’s a kid’s movie! (see Land of the Lost)
Yep, I’m Canadian too.
I stand corrected – I meant to say it was edited from NC-17 to an R. By the way, here in Canada it is ‘14A’.
Huh? It is R, you said it was edited to PG-13.
Please go see The Proposal you two will have a wonderful time!!
